The area between Entrenchment Road of AoC Circle and allahabad Gate and Wellington Road is littered with cracks and potholes, making it a nightmare for commuters. The route is heavily traveled by about 100,000 cars every day, including both civilians and army personnel. Craters line the Entrenchment Road leading to the allahabad Gate, making the trip terrifying. It's unsuitable for commuting. A few irate motorists told india Herald that the army officials should at the very least cover the holes with mud to make traveling somewhat comfortable.

Every time it rains, the situation becomes worse. According to everyday passenger v Subramanyam of Safilguda, "local army authorities use the stretch daily, but they did not take up any data-facelift works." Instead of the typical five minutes, according to commuters, it now takes at least 15 minutes to drive through the section. Additionally, since the stretch stays congested during peak hours, traveling becomes a backbreaking activity.

Deep holes can be found all along Wellington Road, creating a similar scenario. The road was flooded with rains last year, and cars could be seen partially immersed in the floodwater. A few commuters said, "However, either the civic body, SCB, or LMA did not take any measures." The Entrenchment Road is A-1 defense land, according to SCB representatives who were contacted, even though Wellington Road is inside SCB boundaries. Defense officials assessed both spans a few weeks ago. To prevent rainfall stagnation, it has been suggested that a box drain be built at the Wellington Road gate, according to a senior SCB official.
