Telangana Congress Considering Free Metro Travel for Students

In addition to the six guarantees made public by the congress leadership for the upcoming assembly elections, the party plans to offer additional favours to various groups in society. Free Metro travel for hyderabad school, college, and university students during exams is one such proposal. Under the direction of mla D. sridhar Babu, the TPCC's manifesto committee, which consists of 24 members and 16 ex-officio members, has been meeting with various stakeholders over the past several days to ascertain the objectives of various societal segments.
The committee is also visiting areas to get public input while it draughts the manifesto, which is a first for the Congress. It has so far traversed the adilabad neighbourhood and will begin a tour of warangal on Thursday. According to party insiders, the manifesto committee suggested offering free Metro train transit in hyderabad to students in high school, college, and universities on the day of exams to guarantee that they arrive at testing locations on time.
According to D. sridhar Babu, the head of the manifesto committee, there have been cases where students have missed examinations because to gridlock. According to him, this proposition was brought up after receiving several complaints from parents and pupils about it.
