According to Finance minister T harish rao on Wednesday, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi's election manifesto, which will be unveiled by chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on october 16 in Warangal, will be a major shocker for the opposition parties while also containing important surprises and positive news for the people of Telangana.

According to harish rao, the manifesto, which will be released by the chief minister at the massive BRS rally slated for october 16 in Warangal, would be filled with good news for the populace in general and women in particular. He also said that Chandrashekhar Rao was adamant about providing the populace with additional advantages. In addition, since the Opposition parties wouldn't be able to match the BRS, the manifesto would prove to be a big roadblock for them.

Harish Rao claimed that Chandrashekhar Rao was constantly a symbol of optimism for the populace since he had kept every promise he had made to the residents of telangana and had even gone above and beyond by implementing several welfare-oriented programmes. None of the welfare projects and schemes being executed in telangana were comparable to those in karnataka or any other state governed by the Congress. He said Chandrashekhar Rao was poised to win the election for the third time and noted that the congress programme was seldom carried out in any election.

At earlier public forums in makthal and Devarkadra, harish rao declared that telangana will gain significantly from the federal Cabinet's decision to establish a tribunal to decide the State's share of the krishna waters. This action will guarantee the project-wise distribution of guaranteed water. The Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme was built by the chief minister, who had excellent foresight. In a year, the project would be completely operating.

Telangana, which has the biggest catchment of Krishna, would stand to gain significantly from the Center's decision to allow the release of new terms of reference (ToR) to the krishna Water Disputes Tribunal-II for resolution of the krishna Water problem. Similar circumstances existed with the former mahabubnagar district, which has the majority of the krishna catchment area in the State. He promised that the water allocation for the State will be decided once and for all.

Each project in the State would get a specific amount of guaranteed water allocation. The Palamuru- Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme was a similar example. The secured water allotment for projects like Kalwakurty, Nettempadu, Bhima, Koilsagar, and Jurala will also be made shortly. Even though the chief minister raised the problem with the union Ministry of Water Resources nine and a half years ago, the Centre had really been idly waiting on it.

Although the State appealed the krishna waters case to the supreme Court, it was forced to abandon the petition more than a year ago to help a panel decide the matter. As elections drew close, the Centre awoke from its sleep to make a decision on the matter, he claimed.
