Atishi orders investigation, writes letter to CVO?

Delhi Government’s Vigilance minister Atishi has ordered an investigation into the matter in view of the

allegations of corruption in Sardar patel Covid Care Center and the report of departmental officials. He has said

in his order that it seems that there is collusion between the petitioning firm and senior officials of GNCTD. The

negligence during the construction of the Covid center raises suspicion that the officials may have received

bribes from the firm before the tender was issued to complete the related works.

Actually, during Corona, Radha Swami Satsang Vyas Covid Care Center was built in Chhatarpur, Delhi, in

which corruption has been accused. minister Atishi had issued an order on september 25 regarding the

investigation in this matter. In the letter issued to the Chief Secretary and Chief Vigilance Officer, it has been

said that the work of building the Covid Care Center at Radha Soami Satsang Vyas was going on without the

tender being allotted.

Atishi, a minister in the kejriwal government, has directed the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) to take this

matter seriously and investigate it on priority level. The officers involved in corruption should be identified and

a detailed report should be given in this matter. So that action can be taken against the guilty officers. It is also

mentioned in the letter that these actions are completely adverse to good governance, which cannot be tolerated

at any level.
