Former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy said that the JD(S) leaders unanimously agreed to the alliance with the bjp in the party meeting held on Sunday. He addressed a gathering of JDS party MLAs, former MLAs, former ministers, district presidents and senior leaders at Ketiganahalli garden in Bidadi. The BJP-JDS alliance is the solution to the burning problems facing the state. I will solve all the problems and projects with the help of the central government. He announced that he would retire from politics if these issues were not resolved in the next five years.

The alliance with bjp is not for my own benefit. For the good of the country. I will work to solve this problem within the scope of the law without harming the union system. This alliance will be good for the state. I will do whatever I have to do to save our water. I will not lie like the Congress. He said that he would make sincere efforts to resolve these issues under the guidance of Devegowda. This meeting is a testimony that our party is strong and united. I will become soil in the soil of this Ramanagara. I am speaking as witness of this soil. The alliance does not threaten the political future of anyone in the JDS party. He said no injustice has been done to minorities and no community can be wooed for votes. JDS State President C.M. Ibrahim was absent from this meeting. Similarly, Gurmitkal mla Sharan Gowda Kandakur, who had expressed displeasure with the alliance, also did not come. HD Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil had discussed with Kandakura recently.
