In this case, there was a strong voice that a caste-wise census should be conducted. Because of that, the Union bjp government has canceled the census without even conducting it.
The Union government has not shown the same interest in reservation for backward and scheduled communities as it has shown for providing 10% reservation for upper castes. This is a proof that the Union bjp government is entirely in favor of the upper castes. In this context, the bihar State Caste-wise survey released will create awareness among the backward and scheduled communities across India.
