Amara Jyothi, a documentary on the sacrifices of telangana martyrs, was launched on sunday by KT Rama Rao, minister of IT and industries. The martyrs who gave their lives in the struggle for a distinct telangana from 1969 until the day Statehood was established are brilliantly shown in the ten-minute film.
Speaking at the event, the minister predicted that the documentary will provide a touching narrative of the young who died as a result of machinations by those who opposed Telangana's statehood. Among those who gave their lives to motivate the populace to fight for statehood were several student heroes. He praised the writer and MLC Deshapati srinivas as well as the director, Badawat Purnachander, and declared that it was a must-see for everyone from Telangana.
He stated that more of these documentaries were welcome. The minister also presented two books: "Kasuvu," written by Dr. Gade Venkatesh, and "Nadaka," a collection of writings by Errozu srinivas that deals with environmental sanitation concerns. Errozu srinivas, general secretary of telangana Vikasa Samithi, was complimented for his appraisal of Telangana's growth in the book.
He said that Kasuvu made note of certain really uncommon details and that there were no publications that thoroughly covered Telangana's history of sanitation and the development of the Municipal Administration division. That void was filled by "Kasuvu." There was also Sahitya Akademi Chairman Juluru Gowrishankar, director of telangana Digital media Konatham Dileep, and others.
