Amit Shah predicted early elections! Can Nitish Kumar’s government fall

Union home minister amit shah was on a tour of bihar on saturday (16 September). Addressing the party’s rally

at Jhanjharpur in Madhubani district here, the senior bjp leader predicted early elections in Bihar. He also took a

dig at bihar Chief minister Nitish Kumar. amit shah said, I am familiar with all the problems (infiltration, land

grabbing, illegal trade) on the data-border of Bihar. I assure you that elections will be held in bihar soon and under the

leadership of PM Modi, the bharatiya janata party (BJP) will )'s government will be formed. With this claim of

the Union home minister, it is important to know whether there is any threat to Nitish Kumar's government and

what is the situation of bihar Assembly at present.

Equation of bihar assembly

122 seats are mandatory to form the government in the 243-member bihar Assembly. At present, there is a grand

alliance government in the state which includes Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), janata dal united (JDU), Congress,

Communist party of india (CPI), cpi (Marxist-Leninist), party OF INDIA' target='_blank' title='communist party of india-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">communist party of india (Marxist) (CPIM). The grand

alliance has a total of 160 seats which includes 79 seats of RJD, 45 of JDU, 19 of Congress, 12 of cpi Marxist-

Leninist, 2 seats each of cpi and CPIM and one independent MLA.

Is the grand alliance government in danger?

Among the opposition parties in the state, bjp has 78 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) has 4 seats.

AIMIM has one seat. If we look at the current equation of the Assembly, there does not appear to be any threat to

the Nitish government. Although no one knows what will happen in politics, but at present the Grand Alliance

government is safe.
