The election commission has called the rival factions of the nationalist congress party (NCP) for a hearing

on 6 October. Sources gave this information on Thursday. The group led by ajit pawar had rebelled against

NCP leader Sharad Pawar. After this ajit pawar and eight other MLAs joined the government.

After joining the government, Ajit Pawar’s faction had approached the election commission claiming the

Party’s name and election symbol. Sources said that after due consideration of the complete information

available on record, the Commission has come to the conclusion that there are two rival factions in the NCP,

one of which is led by sharad pawar and the other by Ajit Pawar. He said that since each faction is claiming to

be a party, the matter needs to be determined by the Commission under Para 15 of the election Symbols

(Reservation and Allotment) Order 1968.

Hearing will be held under this rule

The election commission has asked both the groups to come for hearing in the matter in person on october 6

or register their presence through their authorized representative. Citing the rules, he said that the Commission

will now start the hearing under Para 15 of the election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order. Let us

tell you that ajit pawar had not only staked his claim on the party but had even suggested his uncle Sharad

Pawar to retire. After which there was a lot of dispute within the Pawar family and Sharad Pawar’s daughter

and mp Supriya Sule took her brother to task. However, amidst this dispute, ajit pawar has completed two
