On september 13, during the telangana BJP's 24-hour hunger strike protest against the BRS government's 'injustice' meted out to unemployed youth, g kishan reddy, the party's leader and a union minister, and several other members of the saffron party were detained by the police at Dharna Chowk in the city. As a result of the development, there was unrest at the protest site, which resulted in loud sloganeering and a fight between the police and members of the saffron party.

The bjp claims that during the altercation, kishan reddy was wounded and knocked out. After a protracted battle, the police put him into custody and removed him from the protest area. The telangana bjp president was reportedly being examined by a group of physicians following the event at 9:05 p.m., according to the party. He wrote in a post on X, "Arrested by the kcr govt. - For protesting against the failed promises on employment and youth."

Tarun Chugh, the Telangana-focused national general secretary of the bjp, bandi sanjay kumar, the karimnagar MP, and a number of other state-level party officials participated in the demonstration in the morning. tarun Chugh vehemently denounced the 'illegal arrest' of kishan reddy in a press release.

"The fast has been proceeding quietly and the bjp has obtained the necessary clearances. "The kcr government has failed to conduct a single recruitment exam for cleanly and has been unable to fill a single job," he added. "The fast evoked tremendous response with huge participation of the youth and students."

Chugh said that the 'frustration' with the 'great response' to the bjp was the driving force behind the imprisonment. He said, "Unable to accept its success, kcr sent his police to break up the fast."

The police's use of excessive force during the arrest, disregarding the fact that g kishan reddy is a union minister and a Z grade protectee, is perplexing. He said that despite kishan reddy becoming unconscious, the police were unaware of it.

Even peaceful fasts are forbidden under the "draconian regime" of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, according to Chugh.

"They beat up employees without regard for their gender and used force on kishan reddy, injuring several of them, including women. KCR's agitation is clear to see. He demonstrated this by interfering with the fast, the man claimed.

According to Chugh, Telangana's young and students will "dislodge this government," and the bjp will continue to support the unemployed despite the state-sponsored atrocities using the police as instruments.
