Prior to the celebration, the police have issued an invitation for applications for the installation of Ganesh idols and processions in hyderabad and other telangana districts. Applicants must include information on the application form, including their name, address, association name, and installation information. The height of the idol, the date of immersion, and the manner of transportation must all be included in the installation information.

Ganesh festival in hyderabad and Other Districts
From september 18 to september 28, hyderabad and other telangana districts will celebrate the Ganesh festival. The telangana State Portal Calendar lists september 18 under "General Holidays" as the holiday for the celebration. The hyderabad police have made the decision to prohibit lighting fireworks in public areas starting at 6 a.m. on september 18 in advance of the celebration. In order to ensure the success of the Ganesh celebration and immersion processions, hyderabad City police Commissioner C.V. anand has also made an appeal to all residents.
