Lalu Prasad Yadav’s troubles may increase, CBI gets permission

RJD supremo Lalu prasad Yadav’s troubles may increase. cbi has informed Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court that

a fresh charge sheet has been filed against former Union Railway minister Lalu prasad Yadav in the alleged

land job scam case. Regarding this, approval has been obtained from the home Ministry. According to cbi,

however, sanction has not been received yet against three railway officials. cbi said that the remaining

approval is expected within a week. The case has been listed for further hearing on september 21. Let us tell

you that cbi had sought permission from the Union home Ministry to prosecute the case against Lalu.

What is this whole matter?

This case of land-for-job scam took place between 2004 and 2009. RJD supremo Lalu prasad Yadav was the

Railway minister at the Center at that time. Lalu Yadav family is accused of gifting land or selling land at low

prices in exchange for appointments made in the Railways during his tenure as Railway Minister. cbi is

continuously investigating this case. ED is investigating aspects related to money laundering.

Tejashwi's name was also added this year

In this case, on July 3, 2023, cbi filed the second charge sheet, in which Tejashwi Yadav was made an

accused for the first time. When Tejashwi Yadav's name was also included as an accused, there was a lot of

rhetoric. JDU national president Lalan Singh had said that Tejashwi Yadav was already anticipating this.

Tejashwi Yadav is a very strong person. He had already said that all this was going to happen. Nothing is

going to happen with this kind of intimidation.
