On Saturday, september 9, the telangana congress staged a poster release event at Charminar. The municipal police interfered, alleging a lack of clearance for the program, which created conflict. The party published a poster denouncing prime minister Narendra Modi and chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao as "Thodu Dongalu" (Thieves in arms).
The congress leaders and the police officers got into a heated confrontation, and the congress leaders claimed that the police tried to rip the posters off. Additionally, they claimed that police officers were BRS and AIMIM spies. "Police don't have the authority to rip off and steal our posters. While denouncing the use of lathi on the congress members, hyderabad DCC president sameer Waliullah claimed that certain employees behaved in an extremely unpleasant manner solely to appease their political masters.
The session included participation from the chairman of the tpcc campaign committee, Madhu Yashki Goud, the AICC secretaries Rohit Chowdhary and Mansoor ali Khan, the tpcc spokesperson, Syed Nizamuddin, the chairman of the hyderabad Minorities Department, Arshad Sheikh, the in-charge of the Charminar, Mujeebullah Shareef, and other key figures. On Saturday, the congress party vowed to "expose the failures of the BRS-BJP governments" in telangana and at the federal level, as well as the AIMIM's "betrayal" of the people of Hyderabad. Participants in the program included congress representatives from the Charminar, Yakutpura, Bahadurpura, Malakpet, and Chandrayangutta seats.
Police at the scene apprehended congress leaders. "We won't be scared by the strategies being used by the leaders of the BRS, bjp, and mim to silence our voice by employing a police force. We'll keep showing how the BRS, bjp, and mim abandoned the residents of hyderabad and utterly ignored the area. In the near future, the congress party will publish a document called the hyderabad Declaration that will detail the trs and MIM's shortcomings.
Asaduddin Owaisi, the president of the mim, and other mim officials, according to sameer, were "trembling with fear" after the congress party decided to mount a fierce campaign in the Old City for the next assembly elections. They were astounded by the sizable number of Old City residents running for office and the growing support for congress in the area. He asserted that the congress party would bring about the necessary growth and transformation in the Old City if it gained power.
He said that the 'communal policies' of the mim and bjp had angered the residents of Old City, and that they would'reject' both parties in the approaching elections. He said that the BRS administration was "facilitating" an easy victory for the mim and bjp in the next elections by "misusing" the police against the Congress. He said, "The congress will not submit to such pressures and resist them using all democratic methods.
