How did BSP become a game changer? Understand
After this it was decided that even though the contest in Ghosi by-election is between SP and BJP, BSP voters will
be the game changer of this election. The situation of the last elections was telling the same thing. The results of
the last three elections are also pointing in the same direction. In 2017, BSP candidate abbas Ansari got 81,295
votes, while in the 2019 by-election, BSP's Abdul Qayyum Ansari got 50,775 votes. Whereas in 2022, BSP
candidate Wasim Iqbal had received 54,248 votes. These figures showed that Dalit voters played a decisive role
here.
It also became clear that somewhere the votes of BSP shifted towards SP, due to which their candidate Sudhakar
Singh got victory. In the victory of sudhakar Singh, the vote bank of BSP can also be understood in the sense that
he won by 42759 votes. On the other hand, in the last two elections, the BSP got a little more than 50 votes on this
seat. This shows that the vote bank of BSP contributed a lot in the victory of SP.
