The dry run and wet run for the second phase will be conducted at the Yedula pump house within a month.
Water was pumped into the Vattem reservoir (16.40 TMC) in the third phase. Water will fill the Karvena reservoir, which has a 19 TMC gross storage capacity, by the end of October. They also stated that obstacles to receiving environmental approval for the project's irrigation component had been removed by adhering to the standards set by the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC). The administration is hoping that it would soon receive the environmental approval. It would make it easier to speed up the work already being done on the various project packages.
