Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar said that no decision will be taken for the time being on the issue of dividing belgaum district into three districts. minister Satish Jarakiholi has demanded the division of belgaum district from the administrative point of view. However, no decision has been taken yet. There are four assembly constituencies in Ramanagara, Gadag and Chamarajanagar districts and two assembly constituencies in Kodagu district. Because of that, the administration is running smoothly. No one needs to be unduly alarmed about the partition of Belgaum. He said that a decision will be taken after consultation.
