Telangana Junior lineman restores power supply by risking life in Karimnagar

Ambala Venkateshwarlu, a young lineman, risked his life on sunday to restore power. On sunday, Venkateshwarlu scaled a pole in the middle of a water tank in Chelpur in the huzurabad mandal after the power to Chelpur was cut off because a failure on the 11kv line that crosses the tank from the 33/11 kv substation, Rajarampalli, in the huzurabad division. After the Sunday's nonstop rain, the tank was completely full.
He initially swam to the pole in the centre of the tank with the help of his colleagues Parushuram and Sammaiah, and Venkateshwarlu then climbed the pole to restore electricity. In nearby whatsapp groups, a video of Venkateshwarlu restoring electricity became popular. Venkateshwarlu and other employees were praised by Superintendent engineer Gangadhar and other officials. On sunday, after the power to Chelpur was cut off, Venkateshwarlu climbed an electricity pole that was in the midst of a water tank close to Chelpur in huzurabad mandal.
The Northern Power Distribution Company of telangana Ltd.'s recruiting programme has announced the results of the junior Lineman recruitment exam.
