Swami
prasad Maurya, the
leader of the Samajwadi
party (SP), criticised Mohan Bhagwat, the head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), on
saturday for calling
india a "Hindu Rashtra" and asserted that it never was. Swami
prasad Maurya declared today on his official X that "India is not a Hindu nation, and it never was.
india is a pluralistic country by nature. "The concept of a secular state is the foundation of our constitution.
india is a country where only
indians live. The head of the Samajwadi
party wrote in
hindi that "Our
indian Constitution represents the representation of all religions, faiths, sects, and cultures."
Mohan Bhagwat said that
india is a "Hindu Rashtra," that all
indians are Hindus, and that Hindus speak for all
indians while speaking at the "Madhukar Bhavan" inaugural
event in Nagpur.Bhagwat has stated, "Ideologically, all Bharatiyas (Indians) are Hindus and Hindus mean all Bharatiyas. Hindustan (India) is a 'Hindu Rashtra' and this is a truth. Nothing else relates individuals who are in Bharat (India) now to Hinduism, Hindu ancestors, or Hindu territory.
Because of their habits and selfishness, some individuals are not putting this into practise even after learning it. Additionally, some individuals either don't understand it yet or have forgotten it, according to the RSS chief.
