Rajasthan Elections: Water quality testing labs will be established
Dr. Joshi has announced setting up of water quality testing laboratories in the entire state. He said that at present
there are these laboratories in 33 districts, now these laboratories will be established in the newly formed 17
districts as well. With the establishment of these labs in the entire 50 districts of the state, it will be easier to
check the quality of drinking water available to the common people. He said that non-revenue water i.e. wastage
in the state is still up to 30 percent. Efforts are being made to reduce this to less than 20 percent and to make
efficient use of water up to 20 percent by recycling waste water.
Joshi said that by being a part of Mission 2030, share your best suggestions and become a partner in making the
Vision 2030 document excellent and useful by making others aware. MD (Jal jeevan Mission) Avichal
Chaturvedi has presented an outline of Mission 2030. Feedback is being taken from the stakeholders of the
entire state to make rajasthan number one. He called upon the officers and employees of the Water Supply
Department to involve more and more people at the grassroots level.
Joint Secretary, Planning, Sushil Kulhari said that Mission 2030 started on august 15 and will continue till
September 30. He called upon the officers and employees of every department to give useful suggestions for the
development of the state.
