In the current monsoon season in telangana state, the area under paddy cultivation has exceeded the target. According to official figures, 55,90,978 acres i.e. 112.12 percent of the average of 49,86,634 acres were sown. The state looks like a green field. It has been said that the cultivation season of maize, sorghum, sajjas, ragul, pulses, soybean and cotton has ended. Varinata will continue till the first week of September.
