Telangana Elections - BJP struggles to identify winning seats

The telangana bjp has been reduced to a non-entity by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), and the saffron party leadership is now finding it difficult to pinpoint assembly districts where it can mount some sort of opposition to its rivals.
The bjp leadership, according to party sources, has instructed State unit leaders to concentrate on the constituencies located within the Greater hyderabad limits, particularly Amberpet, Khairatabad, Musheerabad, Uppal, Jubilee Hills, secunderabad Cantonment, Kukatpally, LB Nagar, Serilingampally, Rajendranagar, Karwan, Nampally, Qutbullahpur, Malkajgiri, Medchal, and Maheshwaram.

The party is also interested in the Chevella, Vikarabad, and tandur seats in the Rangareddy district. The party considers karimnagar, Huzurabad, Sircilla, Vemulawada, Jagtial, Peddapalli, and ramagundam to be significant seats in the former karimnagar district. In addition, the party leadership has requested that the State leadership concentrate particularly on the nizamabad Urban and Rural, Armoor, Kamareddy, and Yellareddy seats, where it hopes to do well. The party is also concentrating on important areas in the former adilabad district, including adilabad, Boath, Mancherial, Khanapur, Asifabad, Mudhole, and Nirmal.

The party is closely monitoring the mahabubnagar district assembly segments of Gadwal, Kalwakurthy, Shadnagar, and Mahabubnagar.
It would be difficult for the bjp to overthrow the ruling BRS, according to a number of party leaders, since the party lacks cadre at the booth level in the majority of the constituencies and due to the lack of preparation.
The bjp once again overstated its chances of capturing seats in 2018, but they ended up with just one seat, four fewer than they did in 2014. Only t raja singh was able to keep his Goshamahal seat, while K Laxman of Musheerabad, g kishan reddy of Amberpet, NVSS prabhakar of Uppal, and Chintala ram Chandra reddy of Khairatabad all succumbed to the BRS (then TRS) assault.

It is unclear if the bjp will be able to improve on its prior standing given the continuous divisions within the party and the lack of excitement among party officials.
