Somajiguda is ranked second in India's high street rankings by Knight Frank's newly released "India Real Estate Vision 2047" study, showing the city's significance in retail real estate. The top 30 high-street marketplaces include Somajiguda, Gachibowli, Ameerpet, banjara hills, and jubilee hills, all of which are located in Hyderabad. jubilee hills and banjara hills are transforming from residential areas into diverse districts.

Ameerpet, well-known for its coaching centers, combines traditional and contemporary commerce. The ranking is topped by Kolkata's Park and Camac Street, Linking Road in Mumbai, Delhi's South Extension - I & II, and Bengaluru's MG Road, with Somajiguda coming in second. Accessibility, parking, facilities, visibility, and consumer buying power are all factors in Hyderabad's success. According to the Knight Frank research, eight cities' worth of high streets total 13.2 million square feet of retail space, of which 5.7 million are devoted to contemporary retail.

"By 2047, the indian real estate market is projected to grow to a value of USD 5.8 trillion, or USD 5,833 billion. From a current share of 7.3 percent, the predicted real estate production value will contribute 15.5% to the overall economic output in 2047, according to a statement from Naredco-Knight Frank. When india celebrates 100 years of independence in 2047, it is predicted that its GDP would be between USD 33 trillion and USD 40 trillion in data-size.
