Distribution of sprinklers to farmers who have paid amount

The crops of the farmers of Saigaon, Attaraga, Alawai, Mehkara and other villages under the Sayagaon Farmer Contact Center of Hulasur taluk are drying up due to lack of moisture. Farmers have failed to save the crops by not being able to irrigate the extinct crops like soya, pea and togari crops through sprinkler irrigation.
Vinayak Manikappa, a farmer, said that if the sprinkler set does not arrive soon or if the farmers' money is not refunded, they will fight fiercely in front of the Farmer Contact Center. We have sent two notices to the private company to repay the farmers. However, since the money has not been paid till now, appropriate action will be taken by the department. Assistant director of Agriculture Mallikarjuna Methre said that arrangements will be made to give sprinkler sets to the farmers who paid money to that company within two days.
