Separate judge Kumaresh Babu gave a sensational verdict on march 28, refusing to ban the AIADMK General Committee resolutions and general secretary election. Following this, the petition filed by OPS was dismissed. The appeal petitions filed by 4 persons including OPS, Manoj Pandian, Vaithilingam and JCD. prabhakar were heard in a session comprising Justices mahadevan and Mohammad Sabiq.
