Sanghamitra Maurya reacts to shoe thrown at father
Samajwadi party leader Swami prasad Maurya came into limelight recently when a man threw a shoe at him
during the OBC convention. However, after this incident, his supporters caught the accused youth there and
washed him fiercely. The reaction of his daughter and bjp mp from Badaun Sanghamitra Maurya has also come
to the fore on this incident. He called this incident a political stunt and even mentioned many old incidents.
Sanghamitra Maurya said that such incidents are political stunts. As a public representative, we have felt that
stooping to this extent is wrong. He said that people use it as a political stunt to throw shoes, throw ink at
someone. So that by doing this he becomes famous and can establish himself. I oppose such incidents. This is
not a new phenomenon. Such acts have been happening in the past as well.
Sanghamitra reminded these incidents
Sanghamitra Maurya, referring to the earlier incidents, said that in the year 2008 also a shoe was thrown at Bush
and after that the person who threw the shoe became a Zaidi hero and contested the election. In 2009, a shoe was
thrown at the then home minister P Chidambaram. He became famous, contested elections and became an
MLA. Not only this, he also mentioned LK Advani and said that such an incident had also happened with LK
Advani, who is called Bhishma Pitamah of our party, no one is untouched by this. Such big people are chosen so
that they can shine themselves.
In fact, on Monday, a shoe was thrown at SP leader Swami prasad Maurya when he had come to participate in
the OBC conference. However, he did not like this shoe. The accused youth came dressed as a lawyer, after
which Maurya's supporters caught hold of him and thrashed him badly.
