rajasthan chief minister ashok gehlot has taken a big decision amid criticism from opposition parties on the
issue of crime against women. He said on tuesday that those arrested for harassing women on the streets would
not be given government jobs and their photographs would be put up in police stations. Addressing the youth in a
program here, Gehlot said that we should treat the wayward people.

Referring to those who harass or tease women and girls on the streets and outside schools and colleges, Chief
minister ashok gehlot said that the rajasthan police has arrested 300 people in the last 15 days. Chief Minister

Opposition parties, including the bharatiya janata party (BJP), are alleging that crimes against women are
increasing in the state. He has intensified his attack on the government after the gangrape and murder of a 14-
year-old girl on august 12 in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district.
