Chandrayaan 3... Time Marked, Vikram Lander Confirmed..!
In this regard, ISRO's twitter post said, "The vikram Lander landing of chandrayaan 3, which is exploring the South Pole of the moon, is progressing as planned. All tests are being done as usual. The landing of the lander continues today without any problems. The chandrayaan 3 project continues with excitement. The live coverage of the lander landing event will continue from 5.20 pm tomorrow.” Along with this, isro has also released a photograph of the moon taken by the camera on the lander from a distance of 70 km on the 19th.
Chandrayaan 3 spacecraft was launched on the 14th of last month with the aim of exploring the South Pole of the Moon. The spacecraft's vikram lander, which has traveled close to the moon for 39 days, is ready to land on the moon's surdata-face. Currently, the lander is positioned at a minimum distance of 25 km from the moon and a maximum distance of 134 km. The lander is scheduled to land on the surdata-face of the moon tomorrow at 6.04 pm.
At the same time, two hours before the landing of the lander, research on the conditions on the moon will be carried out. If all conditions are favorable then the lander will be landed on time as planned and for the next 14 days, lunar research will be carried out. An alternative plan is also in place to land the lander four days later on the 27th if the conditions are not favorable. If that happens, the rover will leave the lander and explore the surdata-face of the moon for just 10 days. It will be considered as a loss for India. Recently, China's Luna spacecraft was launched to land on the South Pole of the Moon. But, unexpectedly, the spaceship fell down and crashed.
