Rajini Justifies Touching Yogi’s Feet

Rajinikanth addressed the issue surrounding his gesture of touching yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, during a meeting on Monday. The famous person emphasized that regardless of their age, yogis and sanyasis deserve respect, regardless of whether they are older or younger than him. Due to this interaction, Rajinikanth's trip to Uttar Pradesh, where he visited a number of political people, unexpectedly sparked online controversy.
He was seen stroking yogi Adityanath's feet in a viral video that sparked discussion on social media. While his supporters supported him, attributing them to his modest and down-to-earth gestures, some people, particularly Tamilians, expressed disappointment, claiming that he shouldn't have engaged with a politician in this manner. On social media, Rajini came under fire and harassed for this behavior. Some questioned his self-respect, while others defended him and said he might have been only picking up his glasses.


Rajini met yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, at his home while visiting North India. For the past few days, a video showing Rajini stroking yogi Adityanath's feet has been making the rounds on social media. Rajini has received a lot of backlash for doing so because yogi is a lot younger than he is.

But shortly after arriving in chennai last night, Rajini explained his actions. In an interview with the tamil media at chennai Airport, Rajini stated that it is his personal policy to touch anyone's foot who is a yogi or Swamy, regardless of age. Rajini also expressed his gratitude to the nation's moviegoers and fans for helping Jailer become such a huge hit.
