CM Dhami in action regarding Uttarkashi bus accident
Passengers bus fell into a ditch near Gangnani on Gangotri National Highway under Tehsil Bhatwadi of Uttarkashi
in Uttarakhand. Regarding this accident, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the local
administration to carry out rapid relief and rescue operations. cm Dhami also talked to the minister in-charge of
the district Premchand Aggarwal and the Additional Chief Secretary on the phone and instructed them to monitor
the rescue operations going on at the spot.
cm Dhami said that NDRF, SDRF and medical teams have been sent to the spot. He said that he has asked to keep
the helicopter ready in dehradun for relief work if required. There are reports of some casualties in this incident in
Gangnani. The chief minister said that may god give place to the departed souls in his holy feet and give strength
to the bereaved family members to bear this suffering. He has wished speedy recovery of all the injured.
The cm of gujarat also expressed grief over the accident.
On the other hand, gujarat chief minister Bhupendra patel expressed grief over the death of seven pilgrims from
the state in a bus accident in uttarakhand on Sunday. Along with this, he said that the administration is constantly
in touch with the uttarakhand administration. Officials said here that according to preliminary information, the
pilgrims traveling in the bus that met with the accident were from bhavnagar in Gujarat. Seven people were killed
and 28 others injured when a bus returning from Gangotri carrying pilgrims from gujarat fell into a gorge near
Gangnani in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. There were 35 people in the bus at the time of the accident.
