The primary suspect, according to the police, was ram prasad of east Godavari. Cops also arrested ram Kumar, who gave prasad SIM cards. According to the police, the accused's method of operation was to post a job advertisement for Asha employees under Ayushman Bharat. "When the victim contacted the defendant, he requested that she post her resume on a URL he had shared. She was requested for payment by the defendant. She paid 3 lakhs in the hopes of getting a job. They exchanged emails that looked like government identification cards. After the offence, he threw away his SIM cards, according to the police.

According to the SP, prasad has so far defrauded individuals across india for 1.6 crore. "65 FIRs are filed against him in various parts of the country," he claimed.
