4 naxalites including minor arrested in Dantewada
Chhattisgarh's Dantewada police has arrested four Naxalites, including a minor, while demolishing the supply
network of Naxalites. 25 kg of gunpowder has been recovered from them. Along with this, 84 thousand rupees cash
has also been received from the Naxalites. A large quantity of explosives have also been recovered from the
Naxalites.
During interrogation, the arrested Naxalites said that they were bringing the seized explosives from hyderabad and
had to deliver the explosives to the Naxals in Bijapur district, but before that the Dantewada police, after getting
information from the informer, arrested the four Naxalites and arrested them. Explosives seized from nearby. Mobile
phones have also been recovered from the Maoists. At present, all the four Naxalites have been taken into custody
and they are being interrogated continuously regarding the supply chain of Naxalites.
Explosives were being delivered to Naxalite commander Shankar
Giving information, Dantewada SP Gaurav Rai said that all these Naxalites were waiting for the bus going to
Bijapur at Dantewada bus stand a day ago. Meanwhile, the police team reached him while patrolling. Seeing the
police vehicle coming, all the Naxalites started running. After this the police suspected them and all were caught one
by one under siege. During interrogation, they told their names as Subhash Kumar Kadti, Manoj Kumar Oyam,
Ramesh Kumar Oyam. A minor was also involved in these. About 25 kg of gunpowder was recovered during the
search in a trolley bag present with them. Along with this, mobile phones and Rs 84 thousand in cash were also
recovered from all of them.
The police immediately took everyone into custody and after that they were interrogated. The arrested Naxalites told
that they were bringing explosives and other daily use items from Hyderabad. This item was to be delivered to the
Naxalites in Bijapur. Shankar, a Naxalite commander of Bechapal area of Bijapur district, had ordered explosives
from him. Explosives and items of daily use, including tiffin bombs, have also been recovered from them. Getting
such a large number of explosives means that the Naxalites were in the process of carrying out some big incident.
