Hussain Sagar and PVNR Marg would be further developed in accordance with international standards, according to minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao. On Saturday, he dedicated the Steel bridge at Indira Park that bears the name of the late home minister Naini Narsimha Reddy. The 2.25 km long, four-lane steel bridge was constructed for an estimated cost of Rs. 450 crore. According to Rama Rao, there are future plans to build Indira Park, Lower, and Upper Tank Bund, and other areas, to world standards, with parking spaces, decks, and other amenities.
According to the minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, the chief minister, and Musheerabad mla M. Gopal requested that the steel bridge be named after narasimha Reddy. He stated that the bridge is anticipated to address traffic challenges and provide a solution to the area's congestion issues. The bridge is the Strategic Road Development Program's (SRDP) 36th project. The minister also committed to implementing additional development initiatives in hyderabad with the goal of bringing the city's development to a global level.
"I frequently visited this location to watch a variety of films because it is surrounded by movie theatres. I still recall that we had to wait a while before crossing traffic intersections to get to cinemas, the man remarked. It is anticipated that the presence of this bridge will ease traffic congestion at VST Junction, rtc Cross Roads, and Indira Park Cross Road. One lakh vehicles travel on the road that the steel bridge built every day. Due to heavy traffic and numerous connections, it typically takes vehicles arriving from the telugu Thalli overpass 30 to 40 minutes to reach locations like osmania university and Nallakunta.
However, because to the new steel bridge, the distance from Lower Tank Bund to VST can now be travelled in just 5 minutes, saving 25 minutes on a 30-minute trip. The government received thanks from the former minister Naini Narsimha Reddy's family for naming the project in his honour.
