Under the shakti Yojana, which was launched on june 11, more than 60 lakh women traveled on an average daily in government transport buses. Accordingly, till august 17, 41.33 crore women passengers have benefited from the shakti Yojana. cm Siddaramaiah expressed his happiness on social media about the success of shakti Yojana and said that crores of women across the country are traveling for livelihood purposes including employment, education and medical needs.
