Madhya Pradesh: Whats new in BJP’s first list?

Familyism has also been given a place in the bjp candidate list. 6 leader's sons and one leader's wife have

been given tickets. bjp has nominated the leader's son from bhopal Central, Bhainsdehi, Bargi, Barwara,

Maharajpur and Banda seats. Nirmala, wife of late leader Dilip Bhuria from Petlawad, has also got a ticket.

Lobbying has also been kept in mind in the first list of BJP. 2 from jyotiraditya scindia quota, 1 from Ranjana

Baghel quota, 1 from Prahlad patel quota, 1 from uma bharti quota and 1 leader from Satyanarayan Jatiya

faction have been given a place in the first list. Patharia, Gohad, Chitrakoot, Ghatiya, Chattarpur, Shahpura,

Bhainsidehi, Petlawal and Dharampuri are the 9 seats where bjp won in 2013 but lost in 2018. In all these 8

seats only the candidates of 2013 have been fielded.

BJP has expressed confidence only on the candidate who has lost twice in Pichor and Kasrawad. Pritam Lodhi

from Pichor and Atmaram patel from Kasrawad have been made candidates. Pritam Lodhi is considered close

to Uma Bharti.

- The candidate for Bichiya seat was not officially included in the bjp at the time of ticket announcement.

After the announcement of the ticket, he was included in the party in a hurry. bjp has given ticket to Dr. Vijay

Anand Maravi from Bichiya. Marawi was posted as Superintendent in Netaji Subhash chandra bose Medical

College, Jabalpur.

- bjp has nominated 2 national level office bearers as candidates for the Vidhansabha. National President of

BJP sc Morcha Lal Singh arya has got ticket from Gohad and bjp National Secretary Om Prakash Dhurve

from Shahpura. Both have also been ministers in the Shivraj government.
