Congress rejected Alka Lamba’s statement on high command meeting

Chairman of the Communication Department of delhi congress and former mla Anila Bhardwaj said that there was

absolutely no discussion about the alliance in today's (August 16) meeting. He rejected the statement given by Congress

leader Alka Lamba on the alliance. He said that Alka Lamba is not authorized to speak on this. There was no discussion

about the compromise we are going to make with anyone in the meeting. It is the job of the central leadership to decide

this. deepak Bavaria was authorized to make a statement in the press. He (Bavaria) has made it very clear that in the

meeting we had, it was said that how to correct our shortcomings.

Anil Bhardwaj said that Alka Lamba's statement is not an official statement of the party. There was no discussion on the

alliance of any other party in the meeting. On the other hand, delhi congress in-charge deepak Bawaria said, "There was no

discussion about the alliance in today's meeting. Any discussion on the india alliance will be at the level of Congress

President mallikarjun Kharge. We are not authorized to do so.... There was a discussion on how to strengthen the

organization and how the organization should reach among the people."

What did Alka Lamba say?

Alka Lamba had said that the preparations for the congress would be on all the seven lok sabha seats in Delhi. He had said
