Telangana Minister Sidri says 50K people will be provided jobs in Kakinada district
The district of kakinada will soon become an industrial hotspot, according to Sidiri Appala Raju, minister of animal husbandry, with new enterprises employing up to 50,000 people. Speaking to a crowd on tuesday after raising the national flag at the police Parade Grounds, he announced that, in accordance with MoUs signed at the Global Investors' Summit in Visakhapatnam, many pharmaceutical businesses will invest 2,950 crore and create 3,800 jobs in the kakinada district.
In 18 months, work on the 1,944-acre kakinada Gateway Port in Kona village, which cost 2,123 crore to build, will be finished. 10,000 people will receive indirect employment from the port in addition to 2,500 direct jobs. According to the minister, 30,000 people would be employed directly and indirectly as a result of the modernization of kakinada Anchorage Port, which will cost 100 crore. According to him, the famed indian Institute of Foreign Trade will have structures spanning 25 acres that will cost 230 crore to build.
According to him, those who have given up making and selling illegal arak are given alternative work options by the police department through the Parivarthana initiative. These individuals receive training in skill development and loans to establish businesses for themselves.
