Jolt to Telangana BJP as ex-minister Chandra Sekhar quits
The former mla from Vikarabad and five-time mla has been avoiding partying for some time. Chandra sekhar was urged not to leave the party by bjp mla Eatala Rajender, who visited Chandra Sekhar's home last month. He had been cautioned not to act in a hurry by Rajender, who was just named chairman of the bjp election management committee for Telangana.
Rajender was informed of Chandra Shekhar's issues inside the party by Chandra Shekhar. He expressed dissatisfaction that after joining the bjp two and a half years prior, he was not offered a position. In 2021, Chandra sekhar left the congress to join the BJP. He has previously served five terms as a Vikarabad constituency mla between 1985 and 2008. For four terms in a row, he was elected from Vikarabad on the telugu desam party (TDP) banner. Later, he joined trs (now BRS), and in 2004 ran as a trs candidate. In the united Andhra Pradesh, he was a minister in the coalition government led by the Congress.
Later, he became a member of the congress party. In 2021, he left the party and joined the BJP. With assembly elections scheduled for the end of the year, Chandra Sekhar's departure is yet another setback for the BJP. On august 18 in New Delhi, he's probably going to join the congress party.
