Cheetah was once again spotted by devotees on the tirumala Kshetra Alipiri walkway. ttd vigilance and forest department officials were informed when a leopard was spotted by devotees on sunday evening at the 2,450 steps of the walkway. As soon as the information was received, the officials of the forest department reached the spot and tried to send the cheetah to the forest area by making noises in the area where the cheetah was found. Alarmed by the attack and killing of a six-year-old girl on the Alipiri walkway two days ago, the ttd is sending a group of 100 devotees from the 7th mile to the Sri Nrisimha Swamy temple.
With the help of ropes, the group of devotees is being escorted safely through the front and some security personnel at the back. On the other hand, in addition to imposing a tax to prevent children from going missing on the Alipiri Walkway, chanti has decided to cancel the permission of children under the age of 15 from 2 pm on sunday afternoon. With this, ttd feels that devotees can safely reach the hill through the Alipiri walkway. ttd has canceled two-wheeler vehicles on the Ghat road from 6 pm to 6 am due to the presence of leopards.
After a girl was attacked by a leopard two days ago, ttd has imposed restrictions on the Alipiri walkway for the safety of devotees. ttd will implement the restrictions until the movement of cheetahs on the Alipiri walkway is brought under control. The forest department officials found the cheetah roaming in three areas from Alipiri to Galigopuram and the 7th mile from Galigopuram. Around 6:30 am on sunday morning, the leopard pounced on the motorists at Turn 38 on Second Ghat Road. The forest department officers reached the incident site after getting information from the motorists and searched the area. Similarly, on sunday evening when the devotees saw a leopard at the 2450th step, the devotees panicked and informed the nearby staff. They are trying to drive the leopard into the forest by making loud noises.

A high-level committee meeting will be held on monday morning under the chairmanship of ttd Chairman Karunakar reddy with the movement of leopards on the Ghat road. Officials will participate... In this meeting, they will discuss the precautions to be taken especially on the safety of walkers. ttd hopes to increase the number of 15,000 tokens to 30,000. With this, ttd hopes that devotees will not travel on footpaths for darshan tokens, only those who have Mekkus will come on footpaths. Apart from that, there is a possibility to reveal some other important decisions after the meeting.
