A shocking incident took place at Someswaraswamy temple. In the Someswaraswamy temple at bhimavaram in Ummadi west godavari district on Tuesday, a priest suggested ycp leader and temple board chairman Bhartha Yugandhar to stand aside.  Yugandhar, who expressed his anger, abused the priest and physically attacked him. In this order they cut the knot in his neck. The priest who was injured in the attack was rushed to the hospital.

`For happiness in someone's eyes, they cut the candle on the priest's neck,'' Pawan protested. Pawan commented that the attack on the priest and interrupting the Yajnopaveeta is a symbol of the arrogance and arrogance of the ruling class. He said that this is an attack on orthodox Hinduism.

Pawan asked everyone to condemn this. Yajnopaveeta is considered the most sacred in Vedic rituals. Attacking the priests who study the Vedas and serve God, and harassing them is demonic. It is unforgivable to show arrogance and authority in the premises of the temple which should be calm and holy.

Pawan said that the jagan government is resorting to such actions to exercise full control over Hindu temples and properties. Moreover, the attack on the priest cannot be equated to an attack by a local ycp leader.
