The delhi government led by cm arvind kejriwal has cleared the way for the construction of the multi-storey residential building of Western Railway to be built in ArakpurBaghMochi. kejriwal government has approved the request of Northern Railway to remove 96 trees. No tree will be cut for this project and all 96 trees will be transplanted at the selected site near Shakurbasti. cm arvind kejriwal cleared the way for the project by approving the proposal in the national interest. The proposal has been approved on the condition that Northern Railway will transplant 96 existing trees and plant 960 new ones as per the plan.
Delhi government was requested by Northern Railway to transplant 96 trees out of total 162 trees to the place near Moti Bagh. After this, a joint inspection of the project site was done by the officials of the Forest Department along with the officials of Northern Railway.Along with this, the cm has removed the hurdles in the construction work of the Common Central secretariat building. On Tuesday, the chief minister approved the proposal to transplant or remove 107 trees that are being built as dams in the project. The construction work of the Common Central secretariat building being constructed on ashok Road will now speed up. It will have administrative offices of the central government. The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) had proposed to remove and transplant 107 trees affected due to the construction of the building at the site. cm arvind kejriwal cleared the way for the project by giving his approval to that proposal. The concerned agency will have to strictly follow the condition of planting 1070 new saplings instead of transplanting and removing 107 trees.
