Sikh man and workers who thrashed robber in US store under investigation
According to news source KCRA, Stockton police have now revealed that they are looking into the attack of a 7-Eleven robbery suspect by two employees and that the alleged thief is thought to have robbed the shop twice more within a 24-hour period. The video from July 29 is currently trending on social media.
The police reported that they were aware of two previous complaints of early-morning thefts at the 7-Eleven site that involved the same suspected thief, one on July 28 and another on July 29. The management of the convenience store has declined to comment. The suspect, who police now believe to be the 7-Eleven robber, had previously stated he was unsure of whether or not he had been attacked. They posted on Facebook, saying, "We are aware of the occurrence and the inquiry is continuing.
According to the police, "At the time this was reported, Officers could not confirm if the male was a victim of an assault, or a suspect related to the series of robberies at the 7-Eleven."The Stockton police Department was able to combine the investigations of the suspected robberies and suspected assaults because a witness was diligent in documenting the robbery and assault on July 29.Our Investigations Bureau has been given the case to conduct more interviews and analyse the available evidence.
