What will be the effect if the jai Jawahar-Jai Bhim is successful?

The big question is that if the congress succeeds in reuniting Dalits and Muslims, what could be its impact? Know it...

Dalit-Muslim voters dominate 200 lok sabha seats

According to the 2011 census, there are more than 14 percent Muslims in India. UP, Assam, Bihar, West bengal and jharkhand have the largest population of Muslims. According to a report, out of 543 lok sabha seats in the country, there are 80 seats where the Muslim population is more than 20 percent.

On the other hand, in the 5 states where the Muslim population is the highest, there are about 190 seats in the Lok Sabha. The Muslim population is more than 50 percent in 9 lok sabha seats of the country. These include seats like Bihar's Kishanganj.

Similarly, 84 seats in the lok sabha are reserved for Dalits. Dalits constitute about 17 percent of the population in the country. Apart from this, many seats in the country are dominated by Dalit communities. In the last election, bjp was successful in helping Dalit voters.

According to CSDS, in the year 2019, bjp was successful in getting 38 percent votes of Dalits. The bjp also got 8 percent of the Muslim vote.

In 2019, the nda won many Muslim-dominated seats in Bihar. In such a situation, if there is some reversal this time, then the equation of about 200 seats can change, in which 80 seats have more than 20 percent Muslim votes, 84 seats with Dalit reservation and 36 seats with Dalit majority.
