He said that enough funding was set aside for the upkeep of substations and transformers in the Old City and that power companies spent roughly Rs. 1404.58 crore to provide uninterruptible electricity to the regions included in the Old city. According to him, the Old City now has 63 spare transformers, 15,256 km of 33 KV line, four 220 KV substations, two 132 KV substations and three 33/11 KV substations.
Aasara pension for all eligible: Dayakar Rao
Erabelli Dayakar Rao, the panchayat raj Minister, gave the house assurance that all eligible beneficiaries who had previously been excluded will now be included to the Aasara pension programme list. According to Dayakar Rao, the government supports offering the Aasara pension to all qualified individuals. He said that the State government has set aside Rs. 11,774.90 crore for the Aasara pension programme in the current year, noting that up to 43,68,784 people under various categories were receiving Aasara pensions from the government. In response to a member's request to transfer an individual's Aasara pension to their spouse in the case of their death, he indicated he will bring the issue up with the government.
