Engineers in the workforce who already hold a diploma can continue working while pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree. Beginning in 2023–2024, the osmania university college of Engineering (OUCE) will provide undergraduate civil and mechanical engineering, AI & ML, and related courses to working professionals.
The college has applied for clearance from the All india Council for Technical education (AICTE). In addition to aiding students who cannot afford the engineering tuition cost but are searching for possibilities to acquire a degree while working, the move will help working professionals continue with their higher education.
For lateral entry admission to second-year BE/BTech programmes provided by engineering institutes, the telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test is being held for diploma and BSc Mathematics degree holders. However, there is no opportunity for applicants to work in these normal courses. Classes may be conducted in the evenings or on weekends, offline/online, or in a hybrid format, as the programmes are designed for working people.
