Moderate Showers in Telangana - Schools closed in Few Districts

The active period of the monsoon season has caused relentless rain in several regions of india, which has caused officials to close schools and institutions and even temporarily transfer people to shelter houses. people are suffering the most from the intense monsoon rains, which have also caused waterlogging, traffic jams, and disruptions in water and energy supplies.

The india Meteorological Department stated that heavy to very heavy rainfall activity is predicted to persist over east, northeast, and east central india during the next four to five days, so it doesn't appear that there will be any relief anytime soon. In the next days, many states in northeast india, including Odisha, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, jharkhand, and Bihar, as well as portions of maharashtra and Gujarat, will continue to see varying intensities of rainfall.

Mumbai, which was still experiencing heavy rains last week, was placed on a "green" signal, meaning there was a probability of light to moderate rain till Tuesday. On august 2 and 3, delhi is predicted to have light to moderate rainfall. Telangana, which has been heavily rained upon, could have some light rains today. The meteorological service further warned that eastern Rajasthan, Odisha, and jharkhand may see 'heavy to extremely severe' rainfall in certain locations.
