Swamijis of the Panchamasali community have been made heirs to Sri Math since before. Yes, it is also a monastic law. Recently the Desai family are mostly trustees of the trust and they are going to make Swamiji who they want. Several Panchamasali Swamijis including Arudha Bharathi Swamiji, Siddhalinga Dewa, Shivashankar Shivacharya, Gurubasava Swamiji, Atmananda Swamiji of Bengaluru's Siddharudha Mutt warned that if Prashanta deva succeeds him, they will not only stop this process but also take legal action. Swamiji has appointed according to the trust law of the Math in the meeting of the Swamijis and the Trust in this regard. All the elders of Hangaraki and Garaga villages have made Prashanta deva the successor. There have been no objections for two years. After Channabasava Swamiji became Lingaikya, it is not right to oppose in this way while bringing successors. Trust has been formed by the people of both villages. We are a secular monastery. A person of any religion can become a priest. Thus, the meeting failed after Trust Executive Chairman Ashoka Desai clarified that there was no question of withdrawing in the wake of the legal appointment of a successor. After this, the Panchmasali pontiff went to the district collector's office and submitted a request to take action against the trust. Garaga police made appropriate arrangements in the wake of the protest at Shrimath. On Sunday, July 30, prashant God will be succeeded and further development remains to be seen.
