Who is Tariq Mansoor?
Tariq Mansoor is a Pasmanda Muslim. According to Hindustan Times, Mansoor had resigned from the post of Vice Chancellor of AMU earlier this year. He assumed this post on 17 May 2017. On this he was to stay till May 2022, but due to Corona, his tenure was extended by the government for one year.Mansoor was the first Vice-Chancellor of AMU who was nominated to become a member of the Legislative Council.
