Telangana - Crocodiles surface on banks of Krishna river in Narayanapet
A crocodile was spotted taking a break on the bank of the krishna river in Pasupula village in the Narayanapet district as telangana continues to be battered by torrential rains. Villagers were astounded by their appearance as they watched the crocodiles join the flowing river stream one by one.
Crocodiles being carried down river streams in the area, according to reports from forest officials, is a frequent sight every monsoon. Due to the state's constant rains, river water levels have increased, posing additional dangers to locals. cm KCR ordered the police and other government agencies to be on high alert due to the rising water level in the Godavari near Bhadrachalam.
After the water flow rose on Wednesday, at least 42 visitors became trapped in the Muthyala Dhara waterfalls in the mulugu area, according to the police. "District Disaster Response Force and NDRF have responded at the scene and are attempting to rescue the tourists, along with local police. We have spoken to the visitors on their mobile devices and advised them to avoid the water stream to conserve battery life. All of the visitors will be saved before dawn. The rescue effort is ongoing, mulugu police Superintendent Gaush Alam informed ANI.
