The central government may soon introduce a bill in parliament on the ordinance related to the transfer posting of delhi officials. This bill was also approved in the meeting of the Union cabinet chaired by PM Modi on tuesday (July 25). Now the question is that in the absence of majority in the rajya sabha, how will the bjp be able to pass this bill.
The AamAadmi party government of delhi has been opposing this ordinance from the beginning. Many opposition parties including congress, TMC, DMK have assured to oppose this bill in rajya sabha while supporting AAP in Rajya Sabha. Whip issued by many parties - Till now no official statement has come on when this bill will be brought in the Parliament. Although many parties including AAP, congress have issued whip to their members to be present in rajya sabha on Thursday. Some members have written to the rajya sabha Chairman asking him not to allow the Bill on the issue of delhi Services as a supplementary agenda in the legislative business on Thursday.
