Warning to fishermen - Cyclone winds will blow till 29th Chennai: The chennai Meteorological Department has warned fishermen not to go to sea as strong cyclones will blow in the Bay of bengal and arabian sea areas till 29th. According to the announcement in this regard, in the Bay of bengal today and tomorrow, the coastal areas of tamil Nadu, the gulf of Mannar and the adjoining Kumari sea, the coastal areas of andhra pradesh and the adjoining Midwest Bay of bengal are likely to experience cyclonic winds with a speed of 45 to 55 kmph and intermittently with a speed of 65 kmph. Cyclonic winds with a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and occasional gusts of 55 kmph are expected over Sri Lankan coastal areas and adjoining South-South-Eastern Bay of bengal and Central-Eastern Bay of Bengal. 27.07.2023: Cyclonic winds with a speed of 45 to 55 kmph and occasional speed of 65 kmph are likely to occur over Southeast coastal areas, gulf of Mannar and adjoining Kumari sea, Andhra coastal areas and Central Bay of Bengal. Cyclonic winds with a speed of 40 to 45 kmph and occasional gusts of 55 kmph are likely to occur over Sri Lankan coastal areas and adjoining Southwest-Southeast Bay of Bengal. 28.07.2023 & 29.07.2023: Cyclonic winds with a speed of 45 to 55 kmph and occasional speed of 65 kmph are likely to occur over Southeast coastal areas, gulf of Mannar and adjoining Kumari sea, Andhra coastal areas and Central Bay of Bengal. Cyclonic winds of 40 to 45 kmph and occasional gusts of 55 kmph are expected over Sri Lankan coastal areas, South Bay of bengal and andaman Sea. Cyclonic winds of 40 to 45 kmph and occasional gusts of 55 kmph are likely to prevail in the arabian sea regions from today to 27th over lakshadweep areas, North Kerala-Karnataka coastal areas and adjoining Middle east arabian sea areas.
